Presidio San Francisco

Presidio San Francisco is the former millitary base, founded in 1776 by Spain, then transfered to Mexico,
and in 1847 - to USA. In 1994 it was transfered to National Parks Administration. Letterman center of of
digital arts is located here (former Letterman Hospital), where George Lucas made his Star Wars and other films,
computer games are also being made here. But generally this is large well-kept park with barracks, platz,
other military buildings, and National Cemetery, where military people are buried, not necessarily perished in the
battles but who took part in them, and their wives. Mainly tombstones are small marbel plates, but sometimes
some original ones. Grave locator computer is located at the entrance. Park is adjoined as to Pacific ocean,
as to the Bay, Golden Gate Bridge is in the middle. I went only through the small part of it on Aug. 22, 2009
