Military aviations

Almost every year we visited the airshow in Santa Maria, and twice (2006 and 2009) visited Edwards AFB.
This is one of the largest AFBs with the spare landing lane for space shuttles on the surface of dried lake
in Mojave desert. We saw the 5-th generation aircrafts there: F-35 on static display and F-22 on flight.
In 2007 and 08 there was no show. In 2009 they had only 1 day show, not as 2-days in 2006.
The last 20 pictures are from 10/17/2009. We saw cargo C-5, Spaceship-2 carrier White Knight-2, naval
unmanned fighter prototype X-47B. There was the imitation of bombing and air fighting (Pearl Harbor)
