Grand Canyon in Wikipedia

Grand Canyon, north rim

Elevation of the north rim (up to 8,700) is almost 2,000 ft higher than of the south one.
We went there in September, 2007, while on the south rim in summer 2004 with Marina.
The staight distance between rims is about 30 miles, bu it takes full day to get from one to another.
